I'm going to pretty much start from scratch with this gallery. So if you have a photo of your pride and joy Studebaker and you'd like to show off here, then email your photo to me at Billhohepa@xtra.co.nz
We have just received some great photos of Club cars from the Club Editor and they are listed below in year order starting from the oldest first going through until 1966 and a couple of Avanti's that were built under license later than 1966.
So let's begin with my 1951 Studebaker Bulletnose, or Bomber as some called them. The 1951 model was the first Studebaker to have a single windscreen. I bought this car from Michael and Barbara Cross in Easter of 2016 and have enjoyed every minute of it since. As you will have seen in the 'of interest' section, I've alway wanted one but just couldn't find one. So thank you Michael and Barbara. Mike told me at the time that if he could sell this car he would be able to restore his father's 1940 Studebaker. Well he certainly did that. Mike's 1940 Studebaker is the photos below.
We were at a trucking event in Wakefield near Nelson recently and saw Lester's truck there looking great!
below is a pic of Trevor's collection of Studebakers
below is Lester's Ute.
Below is Graham Power's lovely old 54.
My 51 Bomber
Below is new members Paul and Lynley Everett from Nelson's Studebaker. Its a 1951 Champion Bullet Nose. What a superb job that was done by their late uncle John Everett in getting it like it is, it's absolutely beautiful. We'll have to get the two of them together for a photo at the nationals next year! Well done guys looking great!.
Below is Mike Cross' father's 1940 Studebaker fully restored and runs beautifully. We done Mike and Barb!
Below this Graham Power's 1915 Studebaker. The drivers seat is actually slightly forward of the passengers seat which is an interesting aspect of the car. They also took it up north as part of the Politicians 100 anniversary tour run last year. Outstanding!
Saw this 1933 Studebaker at a recent Caffeine and Classics event on Auckland's North Shore...Outstanding!
Brian and Shirley Sutton's pride and joy, their 1956 Champion.
